Book illustrations for The World Medical Fund, supporting children in Malawi. Working closely with the author, Faiz Kermani, I produced images that were bright and simple for children to enjoy. It is currently available to purchase end of January.
With the charity Gloucestershire Young Carers, I created a poster to advertise their fundraising tea party. The end product was a charming picture for them to use, and I was also able to exhibited work at the event, within the Pittville Pumprooms.
A book which has been published and written in German, Co- assisting Caterina Fischer with her book, 'Dein Leben ist mehr, als was du siehst'. I illustrated 28 full spreads , as well as the front cover. Through this I learned time-management, the graphic process and working with an author.
Another book I have produced a cover illustration for is John Dony's Victoria Swan, where I also created chapter titles.
Through a Travel-Bound competition, I managed to bag first prize with my photo of a train station in Antwerp.
I helped co-assist a workshop with Jake Lever for Cheltenham Open Studios, working with primary school children create art and explore materials. I then made a display for the outcomes.
I have exhibited at local craft fairs, using my visual experience to display products, as well as designing and creating decorations for various events I have helped manage. These include a hugely successful McMillian fundraiser, resulting in over £400 raised, and a stall alongside the 2015 CIA at Stroud museum.
I have been published in the ‘Unseen’, a two tone risograph production, ‘Olio’, a compilation of graduate work, and have had work shown at the Angouleme comic festival, ELCAF, and the London Book Fair.
