Stand Down is a new charity in its infancy, registered with the Charities Commission in April 2015 under the name The Anthony Edward Jeng Foundation. Registered Charity Number 116134.Our vision and aim is to provide psychological and resettlement assistance, support and relief to current and former military personnel and their families, who suffer from the detrimental psychological impact of military combat. This can include, but is not limited to, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, PTSD.  We are the only charity to support currently serving personnel andtheir dependants. The charity was founded by Kyna Jeng and her daughter Paris Nevin after the tragic loss of their brother and uncle, Anthony Jeng. Anthony, known to family and friends as Tony, suffered PTSD after his experiences as a solider with The Royal Engineers. His alcohol abuse, as a result of his PTSD, played a significant role in his tragic death in October 2014. In spite of previous calls for help to the military and other well-known charities, little response and no help was offered to Tony or his family. Tragically it is too late to undo the lack of help Tony, his wife and daughter received through their experiences of PTSD, but in an effort to make sure no other family suffers as they have and still do, Stand Down was founded.Stand Down is currently seeking support with successfully interfacing with the media in order to raise the profile of the charity and engage the public.
