MessageThe Helen Bamber Foundation works to rehabilitate survivors of torture and other human rights abuses; offers a compassionate response & bears witness to the complexity of their suffering; and supports them in establishing a secure and fulfilling life.Our philosophy of integrated care includes specialist therapeutic treatment, legal protection and welfare, housing and practical support in order to uphold the principles enshrined within the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Our activities include initial assessments, psychotherapy, legal casework and representation, mind-body physical therapies, creative arts programmes, speaking at public events, and offering expert opinion to other healthcare organisations and NGOs.
