IVORY FILM

I wrote a short film highlighting that we only have 25 years left for elephants and 7 years for rhinos before they become extinct due to the trade in ivory and horn. The project grew as more and more professionals got involved, and this weekend the film was shot. The film was shot on a 'RED epic dragon' hired in from ITV, and operated from someone at the studio. The director works for channel 5 and lots of other exciting people are involved. The edit is taking place as we speak and I expect a really high quality, cinematic film after having seen the wonderful footage taken on the day. The artwork in the film was supplied by children in Zambia as we have links with 'Tujatane' school.The music score for the film will be produced by 'The Arcade', a music duo in LA who have incredible celebritiy links which we expect to utalise in order to make the film go viral. AIM: To teach everyone that we really have such limited time, and that the UK needs to enforce an ivory ban. On the 24th Sept people around the world will be marching for rhinos and elephants, because this is the date of the CITES wildlife trafficking meeting. Elephants and rhinos are in the media everyday as this meeting draws closer, we want to get caught up in this and encourage your average person to support the cause and save these beautiful animals.
