The Breck Foundation aims to eradicate the incidence of grooming and exploitation of young people, which occur through online gaming and social media interaction by:• Educating and empowering young people to build digital resilience in their use of online gaming, social media and digital communication and to protect themselves and support their friends from the potential dangers of grooming and exploitation.• Raising awareness and increasing knowledge among adults with safeguarding responsibilities (parents, teachers, police, community leaders and others) on how to better recognise the signs of grooming and exploitation.• Enabling adults with safeguarding responsibilities to take appropriate action to protect young people from grooming and exploitation and to help young people make wiser decisions in online gaming and social media interactions. • Campaigning to improve policy, systems and process in public safety and educational organisations and in technology and gaming companies to better protect young people from the potential dangers of grooming and exploitation.

Marketing and business development support

As part of a new strategy to expand the reach and depth of our impact, the Breck Foundation are looking for a marketing and business support to establish an effective marketing strategy for the organisation and create the knowledge, systems, processes and collateral to allow the Foundation to put this strategy into action. We are looking for a marketing professional with proven experience in developing practical yet data-driven marketing strategies deploying both traditional and digital marketing methods. Given the channels we work through, you will need prior experience of developing marketing approaches that underpin business development through schools and related community organisations to help our teams develop effective and financially sustainable networks in target geographies.
