Charity Overview Malawi is the most impoverished country in the world. We at The Mlambe Project believe that the best means of aiding the Malawian people in their struggle against poverty is through the provision of sustainable livelihoods and a proper education. We aim to achieve this through the use of innovative low cost and high impact methods. Our two primary areas of development are: - Construction and the promotion of earthbag building across Malawi - Education and the implementation of new educational technologies in a responsible and sustainable manner. The Mlambe Project was started in 2012 by a group of University of Manchester students and has grown rapidly since this point. Over the next year we are expanding as an organisation and hope to take on more people with fresh ideas to add our existing successes. Role Background As we have grown as a charity it has becomes increasingly important to share our charitable activity with our supporters. Along with our more personal communications with donors, partners and our supporters in general; we are now looking to more widespread methods of sharing our activity.
