Our mission is to make it normal and easy for people with savings and investments to donate regularly to climate change projects in proportion to their wealth, and to raise and spend $10 billion annually within the next ten years to effectively tackle the Climate Crisis. Our initiative springs from a simple fact – that if everyone with savings or investments gave just 0.25% to effective climate change projects every year, we could unlock an annual budget of up to $350 billion to tackle the Climate Crisis and build our low-carbon future. We have researched and selected a portfolio of some of the most effective and exciting climate change initiatives that can be taken to scale to tackle the Climate Crisis. The Parents Pledge is the way in which investors and savers can use our approach to reshape our current system. It is a commitment to use 1/4% of savings and investments annually to fund a selection of transformative organisations that are delivering systems-wide returns.
The Climate Crisis Foundation is looking for PR support as we move forwards with a hard launch this summer.
