Future Skills Training

FST is a charity that helps vulnerable young people learn essential life skills and supports them through to further education and employment. FST works with youth who have been excluded, or are at risk of school exclusion. We provide services including mentoring, alternative provision for schools, youth clubs and residentials. Our staff invest in building, positive relationships with the young people. Our short-term goal is to reintegrate these beneficiaries back into mainstream education helping them achieve the qualifications they need, but the long-term goal is for them to carry the skills they’ve developed with us into their adult life. We also host a weekly youth club; Infuse Cafe provides a safe space for all young people aged 11-18 at St Marks Church from 4pm – 6pm every Thursday. There is usually a mix of attendees, some vulnerable, some not. Many young people may feel like this type of support is no longer available for them but here at Infuse we create that space where they can express themselves, whether that's through art or sport or gaming. The team are intentional in how we engage the young people in activities and games as well as responding to their requests.

Help us reach more children for Infuse Youth Club!
