LMK - Build Happy Lives Through Healthy Relationships----------Vision:LMK is committed to creating a world in which domestic violence, relationship abuse and sexual assault no longer exist, and young people are able to build happy lives through healthy relationships. LMK believes this can only be achieved through education--------------Our Mission:Good relationships shape our health and happiness, but we are taught so little about them. LMK is an education charity on a mission to change that. We educate young people on how to build positive, healthy relationships, so that they can avoid abuse and thrive in their relationships--------------------Our ‘why’:Domestic Violence and Relationship Abuse affects 2.3 million people in the UK each year. 1-in-4 women and 1-in-6 men will experience an abusive relationship in their lifetime, with the greatest likelihood of experience abuse between the ages of 16-19years. Many charities exist to support survivors of domestic violence, relationship abuse and sexual assault, but few offer a comprehensive prevention programme to stop the abuse before it begins. LMK was created in 2020 to be part of the solution, taking a much- needed preventative approach to this complex problem. Now in its third year, LMK was created to ensure that:1) Young people understand the differences between healthy and unhealthy relationships and use this knowledge to keep themselves and their friends safe2) Adults (parents, teachers and community leaders) feel confident supporting young people in their relationships

The Big Give - Marketing Collateral Development and Ad Placement

LMK is about to take part in the Big Give - the Uk's largest match funding sprint fundraising campaign. We are aiming to raise £25,000 in a week through donations (a huge amount for a start-up charity like us) and the Big Give will double everything we achieve. Our social media following is small so we are looking for alternative ways to get the word out about the campaign. We are thinking about 'calls to action' placed in theatre programmes, in-flight magazines etc. We are open to ideas but will need some help developing and placing any collateral developed. (LMK is an education charity working with young people to prevent domestic violence, relationship abuse and sexual assault. We have worked with 9,000 young people across London in our first 3 years.). Please get in touch to ask any questions or find our more about the charity.
