According to World Bank, learning poverty affects over 250 million children around the world, stifling their life chances. It is estimated that up to 80% of children in low-income countries remain unable to read and understand a simple text by the age of ten. OUR VISION All children receive quality education from a transformative and supported teacher OUR MISSION To build in-service teacher capacity through our digital, high-impact programme and virtual community, to enrich both their lives and those of the children they teach. We invest in teachers through our award-winning ed-tech platform, Teach2030, which provides low data, bitesized and contextualised online teaching courses. We have reached over 11,000 teachers and highlights from our impact report include: 41% course completion compared to online course average of 12.6% We’ve reached teachers in 113 countries Over 95% of teachers have improved their teaching and/or digital skills by taking Teach2030 courses
We're a small team of just 6 people so our resources are always stretched! We don't all work full time either. To increase awareness of our work, we're looking for someone with PR experience and support to help amplify our voice.
