PlasticFreeRestaurants is looking for an amazing Volunteer Digital Advertising Manager to join our small but mighty team to help us spread our message. PlasticFreeRestaurants.org eliminates single-use plastic in restaurants and schools by subsidizing the purchase of reusable replacements. In our first three years, we eliminated 9,000,000+ single-use plastic items in 100+ schools & restaurants across 10 states. We pay zero salaries and zero rent, and have kept overhead costs below 6% of revenue since inception. As a volunteer marketing manager, you will work closely with the Executive Director of the non-profit and be responsible for: • Planning and executing digital ad campaigns across various platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.) and managing Google & Microsoft grants for non-profits. • Setting and managing ad budgets and bids • Creating and testing ad copy and visuals • Tracking and analyzing the performance and impact of our ad campaigns • Providing feedback and suggestions for improvement To be a successful volunteer marketing manager, you should have: • A passion for environmental issues and a commitment to our cause • Experience in digital marketing/advertising, or a related field • Experience in managing digital ad campaigns, preferably for non-profit organizations • Proficiency in (free) digital ad tools and analytics • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Availability for at least 3 hours per week If you are interested in this volunteer opportunity, please send your resume and a short intro email to media@plasticfreerestaurants.org with the subject line “Digital Advertising Manager.” We look forward to hearing from you!
