Infographic shares 25 years of achievements for MAG News Post Image

Mines Advisory Group (MAG) is a charity that clears landmines, unexploded ordnance (UXO) and other remnants of conflict for the benefit of communities worldwide.

Since 1989 they have worked in over 40 countries, removing over 400,000 landmines. Their work has saved thousands of lives and they have a huge amount of statistics about their achievements. But MAG has found it difficult to share all of their great work in a simple and compelling way.

To celebrate their 25th anniversary MAG wanted to create an eye-catching infographic to display their accomplishments in a short and meaningful way. Mike Fryer, Communications Officer at MAG connected with graphic designer Stef Johnson through Pimp My Cause and she offered to contribute her expertise to achieving their goal.

Stef is an experienced graphic designer, but having worked in corporate marketing for many years, she wanted a chance to expand her portfolio and take on a new challenge.

Stef said, “working with MAG was a great experience. They were clear about what they wanted, but they were also open to my creative suggestions.”

The resulting infographic (above) was shared on the MAG website and through social media. And Stef also designed another infographic (below) for a specific project to be shared with institutional donors.

Mike said, “Stef’s infographics were very well-received, viewed thousands of times on MAG’s website and across our social media channels and really brought to life the impact of MAG’s work across the globe”.

MAG clears land for people affected by conflict, so they can go about their daily lives free from danger and fear. You can find out more about their work here: www.maginternational.org.
