“Don’t let the bullies win. If you’re determined to make it, you can and you will. Make a stand and join me on The Big March 2012.” Pixie Lott, Big March Ambassador.

We are proud to announce that Pimp My Cause is now an official partner of Beatbullying in their hosting of the world's first virtual global march for children’s right to be safe.

Participants create their own avatar and the avatars then gather in the Big March Park. You can look out for the avatars on March the 1st as they march one by one across the websites who have a place on the route (including this one). They will be holding placards, with a ticker-tape banner running along the bottom.

As a conclusion to the march, participants will call upon the UN to enshrine a new right in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child: “The right of every child to be safe from bullying, violence and the fear of violence by their peers as well as from abuse by adults.”

Other official partners include, Youtube, M&C Saatchi, Mediacom, Orange, Facebook, Action for Children and many more.

Beatbullying’s first Big March in 2010 (a UK only event) took a petition of almost 1 million signatures to 10 Downing Street. The Government listened, amended law, re-wrote policy, got much needed support programmes into schools and changed the way teachers are trained to support and help children that are being bullied.

Beatbullying is the UK’s bullying prevention charity working to create a world where bullying, violence and harassment are not tolerated. Beatbullying has worked with more than 1.6 million children and young people since its launch in 2002 and are key proponents of using technology to deliver both service provision and innovative campaigning.
