Mission

Hertfordshire Community Foundation (HCF) is an independent charity which raises funds to support hundreds of inspiring small charities and voluntary groups across the whole of Hertfordshire. We turn donations into grants and support for the grassroots charities of our county. Our county is typically perceived to be an affluent one. However, pockets of deprivation exist and there is a real need to invest in key areas including our ageing population, young people, disability, housing and health and well-being. HCF was established to help address these and other emerging needs. Over the last 30 years, we have continued to build an excellent depth of knowledge and understanding of the county to enable us to assist donors to give in a way that delivers real impact to the local causes they care about.

Social media strategy needed

Description

Although we are well known in our local voluntary sector, we would like to increase our profile amoung people who live and work in Hertfordshire. We currently have social media accounts across Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram however we tend to post sporadically and we are not optimising the content for each platform. We are looking for some help in developing a strategy to help us make the most of these channels to not only to reach groups but to also reach new potential donors. We want to use LinkedIn more to improve our corporate and professional advisor engagement and awareness levels specifically.
