Personal Introduction

I currently lead strategic planning on two of MediaCom’s largest global clients, P&G and Shell, and throughout my career I have  worked on a range of well-known brands, both large and small. My work has been applied globally for brands like Pantene, Pringles, Gillette, Shell V-Power, and Shell Corporate. It ranges from creating comms platforms and frameworks, generating inisght, crafting big global brand ideas, designing concepts and advising on brand strategy, through to designing and implementing a brand’s global Facebook strategy, building specific activation ideas, through to media planning. Recently, I created the insight and strategy for P&G’s sustainability platform – a consumer facing “platform” for P&G’s more sustainable brands (such as Ariel and Duracell). The work was underpinned by a belief in corporate positive engagement with sustainability issues and a desire to integrate sustainability into everyday consumer behaviour. P&G’s European President described it as “one of the best examples I have ever seen of simple and powerful idea”. I currently work on the MediaCom sustainability team which has recently won a Sunday Times “Best Green Companies”. Before that, I worked on a brand strategy project for The Partners on how to transform General Motors Europe into a green company, under the banner of “GM – Green Mobility”, and I studied 'Design & Innovation: Designing for a Sustainable Future' at the OU in 2005 with first class results. My work has been short listed and won many awards including the Media & Marketing Europe 2009 Best Launch Campaign for Braun, and both EMEA Best Campaign for Pringles and Highly Commended for P&G’s Sustainability platform, Future Friendly, in 2011. I was also named Agency Innovator of the Year by an industry title, and I have been recognized in WPP’s “Rising Stars” and Team P&G awards. I am also a member of the WPP Team P&G leadership team.
