Broken Feathers - a dynamic social enterprise incorporating high fashion and a new generation of carnival masquerade. Set up by a mathematician and jewellery designer, the brand enters the world of fashion with an exciting burst of energy and refreshing perspective. Designs are rich in texture, vibrancy and London’s cosmopolitan flair. In addition, the young founders are set to provide a creative outlet for young people aged 16 – 25, offering the opportunity to design and craft costumes to be showcased at Europe’s largest street festival, Notting Hill carnival. Due to high youth unemployment figures, the social impact focuses on improving job prospects for young people by providing accredited skills and training.
