Software and web developer

We've fallen out of love with our website. It's messy and hard to update. It needs fixing. The opportunity: Our volunteer UX designer is currently conducting research into our users, and will then created a user-centred design for the new site. She can provide a clear set of wire-frames for you to transform into a finished site. Or, if you’re interested in UX/UI, you could collaborate on the design front too. The product: We’re working towards a new website that's attractive, informative, flexible, low maintenance, and which people enjoy visiting. We’re going to be reviewing all of the content on our current Weebly site, and don’t anticipate that there will be much to transfer. If there is, this will be mainly text, and we can provide volunteers to assist you. We’re looking to have a fresh start with a new site built on Wordpress. The process: If you’re interested in design, you could come on board in June and get involved with flow diagrams, prototyping and testing, and wire-framing. If you’re happiest with the build only, you could come on board in July when our designer will have the wire-frames ready to pass onto you for the build. When you’re ready (ideally by end of September), we’ll move over to our new site.
