I am a multidisciplinary creative, communications and digital specialist with a total of 10 years’ experience in a variety of creative, digital and multimedia roles. I have worked across the social impact, music, events, radio and online publications sectors, including 2.5 years’ experience in the non-profit sector. I am currently building my skills in graphic design, UI / UX design (websites and apps) and web development. I am hoping to go freelance and I am looking for opportunities to help grow my portfolio. I am passionate about nature and conservation, challenging inequality, looking at gender, race, sexuality, disability, decolonialism and mental health. I have lived experience of a range of issues. Outside of work I am training as a counsellor with the CPCAB, as a horticulturalist with the RHS, and as an environmental campaigner through Campaign Bootcamp. I also run my own small website where I share my nature photography and write SEO-friendly copy about each thing I photograph.

Specialised in looking at the ethical and/or self representation of marginalised people, normally through the lenses of gender, race, sexuality, decolonialism, what we call the "third world" cinema and more.
In previous roles, I have worked on: visual identity and rebranding projects, website projects (new websites, website re-freshes, training platfoms e.g. resource hub, eReader), website management and analysis (e.g. assessment, analytics, audiences, day-to-day maintenance, light coding), mostly on WordPress but minimal experience with Drupal also. Social media and website content creation (visual and written), publication content and project management (e.g. reports), events planning, organisation and management, radio production, including creating and presenting my own podcast, external media relations, such as dealing with journalists and drafting press releases, as well as appearances, transcribing audio, overseeing, planning, shooting or assisting on film and photo shoots, partnership communications, working with vulnerable beneficiaries, safeguarding, GDPR, email marketing, CRM. As part of my courses I have designed my own brand development guide and visual identity, along with assets such as logos, business cards, documents, promotional materials etc. I have also conceptualised and designed my own clickable app prototype with a focus on foraging for naturally growing food. I am currently in the process of designing and fully developing a website to host my portfolio. Any website work I carry out will have an emphasis on responsive design and accessibility.
