Mission

ICYS will work to provide a Youth Service open to all young people of any background. We will support and run a service that benefits young people through Youth Clubs, developing one-off projects, involving them in Community events or simply providing safe places for young people to go.We aim to bring together local organisations involved in working with young people to share ideas, resources, skills and support. As a community we have a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience of working with young people and we wish to bring this together in order to support young people with the best service possible.ICYS will act as a link to County/National bodies representing the Community of Ifield and distributing information from organisations such as the West Sussex Council for Voluntary Youth Services.

Ifield Community Youth Service was founded in 2011 to bring members of the community together to deliver a Youth Service open to any young person aged 11 to 19 living in Crawley . Our ethos is to bring together Organisations, Groups and Individuals interested in providing young people with opportunities, resources and experiences. We are a not for profit limited by guarantee Company registered as a charity. Our members are drawn from the community and young people. In short… a Youth Service run by the Community for the benefit of  young people in the Community.
