Mission
Since 2016 the Khadidja Brahim foundation has been dedicated to changing the lives of fellow Nigerians through the installation of fully automated boreholes/wells. Providing much needed access to potable water for communities and villages.
We have now added the inclusion of bio-digester toilets to our installations. Aimed at curbing the serious issue of open defecation and serious lack of sanitation in Nigeria which affects our health, well being and environment.

Since 2017 we have placed 27 boreholes/wells across 5 states in Nigeria reaching over 70,000 people within those communities. Spending over 75,000,000 Neira or 150,000$ USD in the process.
We are a very small organization and every dollar that comes in goes directly towards the next installation. The project was started by my mother Khadidja Brahim who is the wife of the former ambassador of Chad to Nigeria. My mother has always had a philanthropic spirit and an aim to help others. She used her position to fundraise from other embassies and people with money that she came across to fund every single well we put in.
Because of covid 19 and her husband no longer being an ambassador. Most if not all of those funding resources have dried up.
We are seeking help to fundraise for our organization online so that we can continue in our work. We wish to combat the problem of open defecation in Nigeria and lack of sanitation. And we believe access to water and toilets are the way to get started. Bio-digester toilets that are cheap to install and require little to no maintenance are what is needed in Africa to be successful. No large sewage infrastructure is necessary. We believe these two things combined with proper education of the populace can help change how Nigerians live and elevate them out of living in filth and protect their health and environment.
