Mission

The Temporary Use Aid charity sources and shares unused spaces and promotes the safe and active use of empty buildings for charities, community organisations and the benefit of the public. Temporary Use Aid (TUAid) is a charity that assists good causes to make the most of temporarily unused land and buildings. Temporary use of empty spaces means the integrity and security of properties are better maintained, and the overall financial burden of the space is much lower than traditional, longer-term rentals for good causes. There is often zero financial burden on the space user. TUAid aims to ensure that vacant retail, office and warehouse properties are put to good use by locating charities and other good causes who benefit from being able to use this space. It has the experience and expertise – and a well-earned reputation for a highly ethical approach – to be able to advise both parties authoritatively on how to develop a mutually beneficial relationship.

With regards to our category, we actually need to tick them all. We provide the opportunity of space to other charities and good causes and therefore assist them in meeting their varied objectives. When we have a very large space to fill, for example a closed down Debenhams, we purposely seek out a collection of varied charities that will then offer a wide range of services for the local community.

TUAid Love Where You Live Campaign

Description

We are looking for many individuals to work for ideally 4 months on a volunteer basis with our small marketing team, part or full time welcomed. Based at home, you will help create and implement an exciting integrated marketing campaign, using both new and traditional media channels to grow our business and help charities across the UK. We believe in empowering people from the get-go and that everyone has a voice. We expect you to have an opinion and value that but also be a good team player. We are looking for individuals who want to gain, or give, real hands-on experience across all marketing channels and disciplines. Someone that relishes a new challenge, wants to make an impact. We require expertise in all areas of marketing, we need social media experts and also individuals with Wordpress skills. This is a unique opportunity, a chance to be involved in a new project from the start that will be beneficial to charities and communities nationwide. The chance to get invaluable experience at all levels across both digital and traditional media: strategy, creative, media and production. We would really like to hear from you, we aim to commence this project mid October and are very keen to have the reassurance that having a skilled team will bring us. Thank you.
