Event Coordinator, PR and Marketing for Menstrual Hygiene Day 28th May

The 28th May is International Menstrual Hygiene Day. A day which celebrates the progress made in helping people around the world manage their menstruation more effectively and to raise awareness of the myths and taboos surrounding menstruation. 2015 is only the second year this international day is happening, but it is likely to get a lot of media attention this year as menstrual hygiene has come more into the public eye and there are a large amount of partners involved. We hope to coordinate a menstrual hygiene public event on 28th May, partnering with other charities and organisations involved with Menstrual Hygiene based in the Bristol area including FRANK Water. Videographer wanted to help make crowd-funding video

Description

We are running a crowdfunding campaign throughout May and we want to produce a great video to go a long with the campaign. We are a not-for-profit social enterprise called no more taboo. We sell sustainable sanitary products here in the UK including menstrual cups and washable pads and we use 100% of the profits to help women and girls living in poverty to manage their menstruation. We work in the UK on education and with homeless women and refugees as well as in developing countries helping to break down the taboos surrounding menstruation. The video will need to be 3mins long, we have already developed a script but need help to storyboard ideas and get creative to make this a fun and entertaining video rather than me just talking at the camera. We are based in Bristol and would like to film in the Bristol area. You will require your own video equipment (or be able to rent it- may be able to help with cost of this), we may be able to provide an editor for free if this is not your area of expertise. Would be good if have experience of filming crowdfunding or short advertisements for start-ups.
