Hi, I'm a marketing professional and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Enthusiastic and committed individual who enjoys working as part of a team or on own initiative using skills and knowledge acquired to achieve objectives. Well organised with a can-do attitude and ability to adapt to new challenges. Within my current role as Marketing Assistant, my key duties consist of:   Implementing the marketing plan Manage spend and budgetary forecast Event management for UK and Europe key trade shows i.e. The Energy Event Maintain corporate website and intranet content Develop and maintain good working relationships both externally with suppliers and customers, internally with other departments and with appointed creative agencies Assist with the production of marketing collateral; leaflets, booklets, company newsletter, internal go green newsletter, posters and flyers. Support includes; copy writing, proof-reading, approvals, print and creative agency management Planning, implementation and monitoring of direct mail and email marketing campaigns Telemarketing follow-up of direct mail and email marketing campaigns to assess interest and generate appointments for the sales team, liaising with sales team once appointments have been arranged Appraise the effectiveness of marketing activity, producing regular and accurate weekly and monthly reports Managing promotional material stocks by coordinating requirements with graphics department; placing orders; verifying receipt Supporting sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information; relaying customer services requests Maintain and manage CMS database ensuring all information is up to date and accurate Assist with organising and communicating of internal events; Annual communications event and Environmental Objectives Launch Assist with all other marketing activities as required

Qualifications

  • CAM Diploma in Digital Marketing (currently studying towards)

  • CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing

  • Professional Development Certificate in Management Studies

  • NVQ Administration Level 3

  • NVQ Customer Services Level 3

  • SVQ Customer Services Level 2

  • City & Guilds Catering Level 1

  • Standard Grades (Grades 1-6);

  • English

  • Maths

  • Computing Studies

  • Office & Information Studies

  • Science

  • Geography and Music.

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office

  • Outlook and Internet

  • Proficient user of online email marketing tool (Pure360)

  • Intermediate user of Publisher

  • Access and Photoshop

  • Registered with the CIM Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Scheme
