With just over 2 years experience in Marketing I’m really keen to use my skills to help a good cause, build some strong business relationships and make a difference. I am a self-motivated Account Manager, with a BA hons degree in Marketing Management with events and experience in Marketing, Sales & Events. Successfully project managed the build and development of the company website (www.heavensends.com), this included an extensive adverting launch campaign. The campaign included a launch event, direct marketing, online advertising and a range of innovative ambient media. Writing copy, arrange photography and managing the design and print process for a range of publications including marketing materials such as catalogues and print advertisements. Play a significant role in the planning of trade exhibitions including the marketing campaigns surrounding the events. This included managing the design & production of promotional material support new product/ collection launches at trade exhibitions Manage and maintain website content & email marketing campaigns. Constantly seeking new promotional tools, with the aim to improve the effectiveness of marketing communication to relevant audiences. Build and maintain good relationships with media contacts, customers and exhibition organisers. Use the in house CRM system, Google analytics, CMS and email marketing software to produce detailed reports, present findings and analyse on weekly basis. Produce and distribute press releases and press packs. Manage all corporate hospitality activity. Managing a number of high profile and valuable accounts, from small independent retailers to large department store chains Developing and maintaining an account base, and delivering budgeted revenues as well as exceeding set sales targets. Identifying key accounts by analysing their current growth, strategic importance and future potential. Identifying the key decision makers and influencers within a business and build strong relationships. Understanding customer’s needs and presenting appropriate proposals through quotations, portfolios and product collections. Support retailers to maximise product sales through recommending POS and merchandising solutions Other charity related experience During my Secord year at University, as part of a small team, I managed and organised a charity fashion show event with no funding, raising just under £1000 for Cancer Research. I personally negotiated various free elements such as a City Centre venue, 6 free hotel rooms, the hire of clothes from House of Fraser & Vero Moda, free goodie bags worth £500 and coordinated the entire project start to finish. My role during the project was event coordinator and marketing manager, this really gave me some fantastic project management experience and gave me an deep understanding of the importance of organisational and communication skills.
