To increase awareness of the wide range of plants grown in Israel and the important conservation work being undertaken to propagate and repopulate endangered native species.To provide opportunities for professional and amateur gardeners to visit, study and volunteer at the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens, thus encouraging exchange of skills and knowledge and cultural experiences.To publicise the excellent work undertaken by the Gardens in providing education for children on environmental matters and in peaceful cross-cultural coexistence.

Provision of scholarships to horticultural graduates to study at the Botanical Gardens in Jerusalem, Israel. Provision of part-funded scholarships for professional gardeners to study at the Gardens for ongoing professional development. Organisation of working holidays whose participants assist the Gardens by volunteering for up to 2 weeks with gardening. Supporting the Gardens' educational programmes for children and the development of more cross- cultural projects to encourage harmonious co-existence between local Jewish, Moslem and Christian communities.
