Volunteer Role: Google Ad Grants Specialist Charity: Untapped Art Therapy Time commitment: Flexible (a few hours a week) Location: Remote Role type: Volunteer About Untapped Art Therapy ‘Art therapy for vulnerable young people without the wait’ Untapped Art Therapy provides Art Psychotherapy to vulnerable children and young people in Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole. Specialising in trauma and neurodiversity, we aim to prevent youth suicide and self-harm, raising funds to bridge the gap between NHS provision and what families can afford. About the Role We’re looking for a volunteer to help us make better use of our Google Ad Grant so we can attract more supporters and increase online donations. This role is perfect for someone who has had Google Ads training and wants to use their skills to support mental health through creativity. What You’ll Be Doing Managing and improving our Google Ad Grants campaigns. Writing simple, meaningful ads that encourage people to donate or support art psychotherapy. Researching relevant keywords around mental health, wellbeing, creativity, and giving. Making sure our ads follow Google Ad Grant rules and make the most of the free budget. Tracking what’s working and suggesting small improvements over time. Sharing clear, straightforward insights — no jargon, no pressure. This isn’t about perfection — it’s about steady improvements that help us reach more people who care. What We’re Looking For Training and experience Google Ads or Google Ad Grants. An interest in mental health, creative therapy, or wellbeing. an understanding of the needs of neurodiverse/trauma experienced children and young people A practical, curious mindset — happy to try, test, and tweak. About the Role We’re looking for a volunteer with WordPress and Elementor experience to help us build our new website. We’ve already done the hard thinking: ✅ All website copy is written ✅ Our WordPress theme is chosen ✅ We know what pages we need What we need now is someone who can confidently build the site using Elementor, make it look great on all devices, and ensure it’s SEO‑ready for Google Ads and donations. What You’ll Be Doing Building our new website in WordPress using Elementor. Laying out existing copy clearly and accessibly. Ensuring the site looks good on desktop, tablet, and mobile. Setting up basic SEO best practices (page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links). Optimising key pages so they work well with Google Ads traffic. Making sure donation journeys are clear and easy to follow. Handing over a site that’s easy for our team to update later. This is a finite project, not an ongoing commitment — perfect for someone who enjoys clear goals and a meaningful outcome. What We’re Looking For Good working experience with WordPress and Elementor. A solid understanding of on‑page SEO. Some awareness of Google Ads or conversion‑focused pages. An eye for clean, accessible design. A friendly, practical approach and good communication.
