Mission

Vietnam Animal Aid and Rescue is an abolitionist animal rights organization with a rescue shelter and farm sanctuary in Hoi An, Vietnam since 2013. We work to end the exploitation, abuse, and killing of ALL species both in Vietnam and globally. we advocate for a fully vegan world and for the transition of our food system away from animal agriculture and fishing for global food security, animal rights, the environment, and public health.

We are a 501c3 since 2018, but it has not helped us much. We rely 100% on funding coming from social media, but this includes monthly donations from our Patreon and Network for Good pages along with individual donations on PayPal, locally in Vietnam, and on Venmo from our American donors. We have under 20 donors who have ever given more than $1000. We are no longer able to rescue any animals due to lack of funds and lack of experienced caretaking staff on the ground. We previously had the first nonprofit vet clinic in the country's history, but we lost that due to lack of funding and are trying to restart it as a year round mobile sterilization/vaccination clinic and veterinary training program.

Experienced marketer in the field of international nonprofit rescue and animal rights

Description

Vietnam Animal Aid and Rescue is looking for help getting our fundraising up to speed with the help of a professional marketer. We need to upgrade our strategy for reaching far more people than we are doing so organically up until now with a total media reach of only 18,000 globally on IG and FB. We also need to reach people with a greater ability to fund us with larger amounts rather than small donations. Experience in business development a big plus. Social enterprise experience also valuable. We are a vegan organization that works for ALL species, not just pets or wildlife and as a result, we need someone who is not going to fight us on the message which is unfortunately outside the box of most rescue organizations, but can work with reaching the audience we know will be receptive.
