Hi, We are a group of women who want to make changes in the health system in the UK. Women's health care in the UK is lacking and far behind other countries. Currently in the UK, the only women's health check-up is a smear test, which is carried out every 3 years only. This test is very important but more needs to be done as it only tests for abnormal cervical cells that could develop into cervical cancer, which is just 1 out of 5 gynecological cancers. We demand yearly full women's health check-ups.
