Mission

We are committed to the promotion of education and skills development for young women in the Teso sub-region of Uganda (and in Uganda as a whole). We believe young women need targeted support to overcome the hurdles they face in accessing education. We seek to improve the quality of life of young women and their families and to empower young women to transform their own communities through; i) individual sponsorship to attend secondary school, vocational college and university ii) training for employment/entrepreneurship in our Skills Training Centre iii) educational outreach activities in the community All of our programming is based on a Gender Transformative Approach which means that regardless of whether we are working with young women or young men, the empowerment of young women is at the heart of our work.

Schools in Uganda have just reopened after one of the longest covid closures in the world, we are a small charity with very limited resources and need some help in getting our message out there on social media and engaging in conversations around girls education and skill development. We also want to improve fundraising efforts through social media
