Huddersfield
https://yorkshirechildrenscentre.org.ukYorkshire Children's Centre is a charity that provides support for disadvantaged children, young people and their families across Kirklees and West Yorkshire. We aim to inspire change and improve lives through our services and projects. We have sites in Huddersfield, Heckmondwike, and Batley and also run two alternative educational provisions for 13-16 yrs students who are excluded or at risk of exclusion from mainstream school. All our students have social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Our other services include contact centres for supervised child contact between estranged families, healthy start programmes for young families, help with vitamins and safety equipment and advice for the home. We run domestic abuse programmes for victims and perpetrators, and have programmes to help with employability skills. We also offer befriending services for people suffering from isolation.
Children and Youth
We have a small team, and do not have a marketing team at present. We are reviewing our strategy and will be launching a new website in March this year. We really need help in getting our message out to the communities we work in and to raise awareness of the charity and that we require funds to continue to deliver our services.
