Cpre Protect Kent

Pr Manager

Mission

We aim to protect the County from inappropriate development wherever it may happen, in order to create a sustainable and attractive future for Kent. We look to ensure that the heritage of Kent, its character and place are not diluted or homogenised by inappropriate developments and we seek solutions for developers and local authorities wherever possible. Currently Kent is very ‘growth’ focussed, and thus it is especially necessary that we are  at the forefront of analysing proposed developments to ensure our county remains as beautiful as it always has for future generations to grow up in.

Additional Information

CPRE fights for a better future for Kent’s unique, essential and precious countryside. From giving parish councils expert advice on planning issues to influencing decision makers, we work to protect and enhance the countryside. We believe a beautiful, thriving countryside is important for everyone, no matter where they live. We don’t own land or represent any special interests. Our members are united in their love for Kent’s landscapes and rural communities, and stand up for the countryside, so it can continue to sustain, enchant and inspire future generations.

Can you help us? We would lke to have an animated version of our informative cartoon storyboard currently used in our leaflets to use on-line

Description

We have designed an informative leaflet for healthcare professionals which will be distributed in medical professional journals in November & will be available in PDF format on our website. It will reach out to over 100,000 healthcare professionals, spreading the word that Pelvic Girdle Pain related to pregnancy and birth is a treatable condition. This will help so many women and their families nationwide, preventing needless disability. The leaflet includes a cartoon story board showing what effective treatment can do for women experiencing the condition. We are looking for someone to help us bring this cartoon to life so that we can make the information available on YouTube, our website and on social media. We do not have enough funding for this but it would reach so many more people if we could have an animated version. Can you help us with this project? If you can, please do get in touch. Thank you.
