Additional Information

USS was founded by a group of young British Somalis as a registered Charity, the founder's wanted to help those young people living in the civil war stricken east African nation by organising fundraising events to enable the USS team to sponsor students to attend schools and universities. Not ignoring the challenges facing the British Somali youth here in the UK, USS also aims to inspire and motivate younger British Somalis by matching them with professional mentors (Doctors, Lawyers, Journalists, IT consultants all from the same background as them) to inspire and motivate them in the power of education and equip them with the confidence they need to dream. As USS activities has been internationally recognised, and their campaings replicated by the Diaspora youth in other EU countries as well as US. Currently the team now face the challenge of ensuring their brand and digital strategy is reflective of the youthful energy and hope of their founders and users. Due to the fact that all money raised through donations, all those involved in the charity do so voluntarily, therefore we are hoping to find a talented designer to us refine the USS brand and develop a new website so we can help more young people reach their potential.
