We're Inkwell! Inkwell is a safe, creative and accessible space where passion and skills entwine, challenging the stigma of mental health. We are part of Leeds Mind, an independent charity whose aim is to enable individuals with mental health problems to flourish. Inkwell is a project based on developing creative skills whatever an individuals background or ability, as an integral part of the journey towards recovery from mental health issues. We encourage personal expression working with adults 16-65+. Creativity can play a significant role in helping people recover and maintain a robust mental health. We all benefit from a healthy wellbeing and we believe creative activity provides a powerful tool in helping us do this. We seek to engage, stimulate and absorb all abilities through creative activity. Service users develop life skills such as teamwork and problem solving leading to increased confidence and improved wellbeing.
