Act4Africa is registered as a charity in the UK to support the work of our partners Act4Africa Uganda, a well established, award-winning non-governmental organisation working in Mayuge District, near Jinja. Founded in 2001, Act4Africa have been reducing poverty and transforming communities in rural Uganda through health, education, agriculture and livelihood programmes for over 20 years. Since inception, we have been youth-focused and led by the needs of our communities. As we continue our journey towards greater localisation, our aim is to build on the excellent capabilities of Act4Africa Uganda, developing their capacity to lead the organisation into our third decade and be recognised globally for the exceptional services they offer and impact they make. We continue to build our fundraising capacity in the UK to support this valuable work. We are currently looking for an individual with experience of fundraising income generation and partnership growth to mentor our Fundraising Manager and potentially join our board of trustees. Description

Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding our efforts and helping us achieve our mission to build confidence and capability amongst the most vulnerable women and girls in Uganda, changing lives for good. Act4Africa UK have a small, part-time UK team fundraising to support our partner NGO in Uganda. What we're looking for: A skilled management professional who can mentor our Fundraising Manager. Guidance on setting priorities, managing projects, and leading a team of enthusiastic volunteers. Support in crafting and implementing strategies that will help us meet our fundraising targets. What You’ll Do: Help streamline our fundraising activities and set achievable goals. Coach our Fundraising Manager to effectively manage their workload and lead our volunteer team. Use your marketing expertise to boost our campaigns, visibility, and donor engagement. Your guidance can make a real difference to the lives of women and girls in Uganda!
