Mission

At London's Community Kitchen, we impact up to 20,000 Londoners with our food-based projects. We redistribute up to 35 tonnes of surplus food per week to charities, individuals, and schools. Not only are we saving food, but we are preventing over 70 tonnes of carbon emissions being released into our atmosphere every week. We are launching our 'Plant to Plate' programme in 7 primary schools with Public Health in Harrow. The aim of the project is to educate children on the journey of food, from Plant to Plate. We are paying for the schools to receive access to the Food For Life portal by Soil Association so that kids can be taught about food, nutrition, and healthy choices as part of their existing curriculum. We need your help!

Fun healthy eating activity booklet for primary school kids in Harrow!

Description

We are launching our 'Plant to Plate' programme in 7 primary schools with Public Health in Harrow. The aim of the project is to educate children on the journey of food, from Plant to Plate. We are paying for the schools to receive access to the Food For Life portal by Soil Association so that kids can be taught about food, nutrition, and healthy choices as part of their existing curriculum. We need your help! Harrow has the worst tooth decay stats in London and one of the worst for obesity in children, with 40% of kids being overweight. We want to tackle this. The best way is through practical education. We need: - An updated Plant to Plate logo - A fun activity booklet for kids to engage in the project Please let me know if you can help!
