Additional Information

Citizens Advice produce a bi-monthly social welfare periodical called 'Adviser'.  This is a core resource for all CABx in England and Wales and is also available to external agencies via subscription.  The magazine is non-profit making. Subscriber numbers are falling and we do not have sufficient in-house marketing expertise to extend the magazines reach.  As it covers a range of issues (such as welfare benefits, housing, employment law and debt) it potentially has a much wider reach than its 'traditional' market of advice agencies and could be of interest to organisations such as housing associations, student unions, solicitors and others working in social welfare.  Our external sales help to support the magazine and its role in CABx.  If the magazine does not maintain its subscription base then its longer term future is at risk, leaving a gap in a key information resource that supports our aim and pronciples (see 'Cause Mission').
