Founder/ Executive Director

Tallawah Justice for Women is a non-profit organisation registered in Germany that works to support, develop and strengthen the leadership capacity of grassroots and survivor organisations located in conflict-affected countries in Africa and elsewhere in the Global South. Commitment to feminist leadership is at the heart of our global mission. Tallawah's work focuses on amplifying the voices and actions of women leaders in grassroots organisations and women's movements. Women-lead organisations are essential for the defence of social and economic justice and for the implementation of economic development strategies for women and girls in these countries. Tallawah was created in response to women's lack of resources and strategies for managing their organisations, and to help them gain access to platforms, resources, ideas and strategies managing their businesses and fighting for causes that concern them deeply.

Additional Information

Tallawah provides a solution by connecting and equipping women leaders with the tools to manage their organisations and advance social change more effectively for marginalised and victimised women. We partner with these women leaders and leverage their collective strength to advocate for survivor-centred justice solutions, systemic policy change and more equitable structures for women. Tallawah provides the resources, tools, contacts and advice to enable these women to develop their organisations. In addition, Tallawah helps amplify the voices of women leaders through targeted advocacy on influential platforms so that their perspectives can be heard.

Help Tallawah Justice for Women develop our Business and Marketing Strategy

Do you have a passion to see women and girls who have been victimised for many years stand on their own two feet! Do you feel inspired by persons who were victims of horrific human rights violations yet have turned around to help others? Well, we are. Tallawah Justice for Women works with incredible women survivors of sexual and gender-based violence from an internal war in Uganda. We love what we do, but as a human rights lawyer, I have absolutely no idea how to better promote what we do so that we can get support for our work. We need your help with social media promotion, marketing strategies and to fully develop our business and our brand.
