Mission

Our aim is to give children and young people the ability to invent and reinvent their lives, schools and communities in ethical and socially enterprising ways.We use social enterprise to create new opportunities for young people and make positive change happen. The way we do this includes providing services and consultancy, particularly to schools; running buildings; making and selling products including skate ramps and our Social Enterprise Qualification; and delivering contracts.

RIO has a long track record working with children, young people, innovation and creativity. We successfully delivered the Creative Partnerships programme in the SW - the government’s flagship initiative that developed creativity in children and young people – plus a number of other projects and programmes.
