EdgeVeg is a community supported agriculture enterprise growing local veg to organic principles for a virtually no food mile veg box scheme.    Members of the scheme are encouraged to come and make use of the veg plot and learn more about the food that ends up on their plates.   EdgeVeg also encourages schools and playgroups to get involved to educate children about the importance of provenance of food and to get involved with their own food network.  Community events are held at the plot to bring people together to create a more adhesive community struture and a local sustainable food network.
