Mission

Our mission is five-fold: To enable people who are homeless to achieve a higher standard of living through their own efforts, specifically through the use of education, housing, and employment opportunities To offer affordable, nutritious, organic, GMO-free food to people living below the poverty line, by using a cost-based pricing model To lessen the burden on taxpayers and the government by improving the efficiency of tax dollars being spent on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program To provide a functional model of sustainable living within the larger community To retain historical means of production

Additional Information

We're a small nonprofit startup effort. We've got this idea...we want to start a non-industrialized, organic, GMO-free, nonprofit farm, that will exclusively employ people who are homeless, and will also provide on-site room and board for employees (as per agricultural tradition), as well as various self-improvement support services (GED tutoring, ACT tutoring, employment skills classes, financial management classes, etc.), and a wage. The food produced on the farm will be deeply discounted and direct-marketed to people living below the poverty level (especially SNAP recipients), so as to offer a more affordable and accessible nutritious food source to people who otherwise might not be able to afford it, while providing employment for people who were homeless. Lastly, we would like to operate this farm in such a manner that it provides a functional model of sustainable living within the larger community, and serves to help retain historical means of production.

Need Help With PR Marketing, Social Media and Web Design

Description

Help us save lives! I am looking for help with PR/Marketing of our non-profit. We have created a unique reusable diaper out of Dri-fit material. This means that moms around the world can put a diaper on their baby. One of the leading causes of death in children under 5 is fecal related diseases. A simple diaper can help save lives in the worst conditions of the world. Even if they don't have electricity or running water. Our DriButts diaper can be washedin in a simple bucket with soap and water. Put simply, we made a diaper out of athletic/ Dri-Fit fabrics which can be used in the worst conditions around the world. We feel we have a stong story and we are looking for a marketing compamy to help us map out a strategy. We also need help with our web design and social media. If these are your strong suit, please let me know!
