Mission

The Nasio Trust is a UK registered charity and Kenyan NGO which supports orphaned and vulnerable children and empowers communities in Kakamega County, Kenya to break the cycle of poverty and thrive, by focusing on three key strands – Education, Healthcare and Sustainable Livelihoods. As a grassroots charity we work in the heart of the community to identify and meet their needs. Through our spirulina production unit, organic farming interventions, and an upcoming ‘regenerative agriculture’ pilot project, we are aiming to create sustainable food and value chains in rural Kenya while developing resilience to climate shocks amongst the community we support.

The Nasio Trust is a UK and Kenya based charity working towards empowering communities to break the cycle of poverty through education, healthcare, and sustainable livelihoods. We are looking for someone who has expertise in streamlining web content and SEO, particularly for our volunteering and Mt Kilimanjaro climb websites. Volunteers and climbers are our major fundraisers as they are able to get a curated experience in Kenya and Tanzania through participation in our projects. We rely more heavily on them than grants as our fundraising stream and would be grateful for an independent and external expert's input on increasing footfalls to our websites and uptake of our fundraising packages.
