Riley Orton Foundation Org (ROF) provides holistic education and promotes gender equality in STEM education to ensure girls and a community with the agency to realize their full potential. Our mission is to alleviate poverty among marginalized girls and communities in Western Kenya by providing holistic education to rural girls and boys, reducing the gender and skills gap in STEM, and empowering young women through entrepreneurship training to provide our beneficiaries with the agency to make sustainable changes for self- sufficiency.
Education and Skills
Our programs are specifically designed to address the challenges faced by young girls and boys in these areas thus providing access to quality education, bridging the gender gap in STEM fields, and offering entrepreneurship training to out-of-school women is an ideal solution. We’re committed to empowering individuals to take control of their own destinies as we prioritize building the agency of our beneficiaries. Through education, skills training, and mentorship, we empower young girls and boys to create their own paths out of poverty and towards a brighter future. While short-term interventions can provide immediate relief, we understand the importance of sustainable solutions that create lasting change and by focusing on education, gender equality, and entrepreneurship, we're not just addressing the symptoms of poverty rather we're tackling its root causes with a goal to equip individuals and communities with the tools they need to thrive independently, breaking the cycle of poverty for generations to come for the young girls and boys from marginalized communities together with young & out of school women.
