We are unique in the area - our provision is fully inclusive and accessible, we mainting affordable access to positive, enagaging activities for young people aged 8-16 years, including those with a disability or additional needs. We are open three eveings  a week term-time providing grassroots football, multi-sports, art and drama.  In the holidays we have different events such as fundays and football tournaments...the fun never stops! Focusing our provision towards those who are vulnerable, deprived, at-risk, disengaged, disenfranchised or un-aspirational we make a positive impact on the development of young people within our community. The charity is run by a group of volunteer Trustees who are all local people who saw a need in the community and have been working tirelessly to make sure there is a provision in a much forgotten deprived area in Poole - one of the most expensive places to live in the UK, but that has much disparity between wards. We need all the help we can get to keep this much valued and much needed project open for the young people of Poole!

Looking for PR and Marketing for Fundraising Campaign

Description

At Little Angels, a charity for underprivileged children and youth in Hangberg, Cape Town, we are launching a big fundraising campaign in June. The campaign will aim to raise funds to build a sustainable community center for our youth. We have some world famous architects on board, who are busy doing the conceptual design. We've just finished shooting a documentary that we will create a short promo from as well. Our strategy is to contact philanthropists, businesses and orgnaizations in Europe and America with an interest in South Africa, as well as doing an Indiegogo campaign for the public. We are therefore also busy putting together a PR and social media strategy. We have quite an interesting angle to our story, but we need to be able to reach a broader audience through press and influencers on social media, espeically in the UK and America. We wish to create a challenge similar to the ice bucket challenge, but for this to take off we need to engage a large number of people, including some influencers when we kick off the campaign in June. Whilst I'm a professional writer, we are looking for someone who can help us reach out to the press and to influencers to spread the word, as well as engaging larger businesses and organizations to have their members of staff take the challenge. I'm personally going to Europe this summer to spend time in Sweden, the UK and any other country in Europe where we might get any meetings and I will be traveling to LA this fall. Could you help us reach a broader audience by engaging, press, influencers and various businesses/organizations? In that case we'd love to hear from you! You can read more about us on our website: www.LittleAngelsInCapeTown.wordpress.com Thank you so much for your time.
