Inspired Dance Scholarship A New YorkCreative Arts School looking to raise $25,000 to provide dance scholarships for a one year enrollment to Dunamis Creative Arts School & Ministry (Dunamis CASM), to excelling teenagers from underserved and under privileged communities who have a desire to learn dance. The Inspired Dance Scholarship was created to offer students who have the desire to dance but do not have the financial means to take classes.  Your contribution to the Inspire Dance Scholarship also provides an opportunity for youth to learn and express themselves creatively, build character and be exposed to a positive, encouraging and creative environment. Students receive a sense of empowerment when they go out into the community and demonstrate what they’ve learned to inspire others through their dance. Studies show that exposure to dance benefits the life of teenagers in many ways. To name a few: Dance is an all-around healthy activity; it is a great way to meet people with similar interests, it provides a way to get off the street, creates a positive outlook, and a great way to help teens develop better self-confidence. Activities like dance also help teens perform better at school. Contributing to the life of another is a wonderful feeling. Also facilitating growth by helping to cover expenses such as; rental space, teacher fees, student give-a-ways, marketing and studio tools & supplies. Who am I? My name is Maya, founder of DunamisCreativeArtsSchool, LLC. I trained in ballet and modern dance as a teenager and young adult. As a young adult I earned a BA in Marketing and Advertising. My hopes were to have a career working for one of the largest Advertising agencies in the world and maybe one day start my own agency. It turns out that God had another plan for my life.  The Lord called me back into dance several years later and planted a seed in my heart to show people His love from a creative platform bringing hope and healing to hearts with a positive message. The vision the Lord has given me is a large one, and I cannot do it alone. So I’m trusting in God that He will make a way. He knows the beginning and the end, all I can do is walk in faith in His will putting one foot in front of the other. I love what I’m doing, and your interest and support mean the world to me. God has a great plan for your life and for each of the students that come to Dunamis CASM.  It is a plan to prosper and not harm, to give hope and a future.
