Mission

The health and wellbeing of individuals and societies is closely aligned to the way in which organisations operate. And by many indicators, current organisational practice is having a harmful effect. But it does not need to be this way. As such, the Vision of Purposefully Human is: A world in which organisations thrive by being authentically human in everything they do. And our Mission is: To globally promote the benefits of creating organisations that work with, and celebrate, what it means to be human.

We are a young organisation that seeks to provide a place for those interested in helping organisations to be more human and humane meet. As such our ethos is one of being member-led. At the moment all the work undertaken has been done on a voluntary basis (and any costs covered by the Founder). The eventual aim is to be financially self-sufficient although we do not intend to charge membership fees as this may undermine our aim to be an accessible global movement. We aim to amplify the need and benefits of better understanding people through encouraging conversations which lead to new perspectives. As a new organisation we liken ourselves to being in the Toddler stage (we have developed an organisation as a human framework). That means we (and our members) are asking a lot of questions and figuring out where we best fit in the world.
