Mission

We have never had a solid but flexible marketing plan or strategy. We are good at seeking out opportunities that can help sustain the charity and its work but we would like someone to help with giving our ideas a more solid base to which we can work from and allow us to keep our eyes on potential opportunites but at the same time be working on a clearer route or pathway.  One of our greatest assets is our ablility to continually evolve as charity and find new ways to engage with young people or go to areas and break down barriers where other charities will not be willing to do so.  Over 30% of our staff include the young people that have come through obe of our programmes and are now going out to engage with and show the positive moves they have made by taking challenging steps and be willing to change their lives for the better.

Additional Information

CRICKET FOR CHANGE (C4C), originally founded as the London Community Cricket Association, have been using sport to change young lives since 1981, developing pioneering projects aimed at disadvantaged young people.  With Phil Tufnell as our President, C4C believes passionately in giving a voice to the young people on its programmes and involving them in their design and development.  This helps raise confidence and self-esteem which leads to the growth of independence, a positive mindset, the development of life skills and greater employability of young people. Cricket for Change also specialises in capacity building other organisations in a variety of locations across the world to mirror our ground breaking work in the UK. Many of these are designed to develop positive relationships between groups of young people from different ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds through the game.
