FundLife is a young and disruptive NGO attempting to design solutions for helping children overcome poverty. We use play and sports to help inspire and support children to reach their potential.The Football for Life: Champions Academy (F4L:Academy) is an innovative education programme using sport to empower and equip children/youth from several marginalised communities so that they can break the intergenerational cycle poverty. Using Football as a tool to engage, motivate and inspire children, F4L:Academy is a combination regular play and non-play activities that provide experiential learning and employability skills to youth.

From Extreme Poverty to the World Cup - Help us share their story

Description

Our NGO, FundLife has been selected to take a delegation of underprivileged children from Tacloban, Philippines to Moscow, Russia for The Football for Hope (FFH) Festival, an official event of 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™. The Festival will bring together 48 delegations of young leaders from all over the world to gather in Moscow. From 25 June to 5 July 2018, the FFH Festival 2018 will demonstrate to the football world, as well as to the general public, the impact that football can have in pursuing developmental goals such as education, health promotion, peace-building, social integration and youth leadership. We're now creating several pieces of content (articles, posters, videos) around this amazing story and we are looking to connect with people who might be able to get us PR leverage.
