Mission

Makerble enables more and more charities to benefit financially from making their work more transparent. As a consequence of this, consumers will start to understand the relative impact made by different charities, creating a competitive marketplace. In turn, this should ultimately mean that charities are incentivised not only to become more transparent, but to become more efficient in how they spend money donated to them and, increasingly, more effective. Thus, Makerble as a technology and communications platform has the potential to accelerate social progress and, in doing so, revolutionise the charity sector.

Additional Information

Makerble is a brand new charity donations platform set to revolutionise the fundraising sector. Research shows that there's huge consumer demand for more transparency around what charities do with the money they raise: an opportunity that could equate to £665 million additional donations in the UK each year. Makerble provides the technology necessary for charities to achieve this, resulting in potentially huge incremental growth in donations for good causes, whilst also creating a new, more meaningful experience for donors.

Description

PACT has been building and strengthening families for more than 100 years through Outstanding rated adoption services and community projects. In 2016 we placed 91 children with PACT adoptive families. These children have often had a tough start in life so require a helping hand to settle into their new families. This is where our FACTS (Family and Children Therapeutic Support) Service comes in. FACTS provides therapeutic support for the adoptive parent and their child to build attachment and empathy and stable, loving families. We want to make the FACTS service more accessible to our families, with a wealth of support available online. This will involve creating a series of E-Learning modules which includes films. We’ve developed the content and no we’re looking for a person/agency to help us visualise how the E-Learning might look, and film and edit the modules. We’re based in Reading but also have offices in London and Brighton, so are looking for someone based in or who can travel to the South East.To receive the full filming brief or to discuss this further please contact sophie.acheson@pactcharity.orgA small budget is available for this work.
