The Center works in partnership with museums, galleries and centers throughout the Smithsonian, across the country and around the world.
Education and Skills
The Asian Pacific American story has yet to be fully told. It is longer than what is recorded, broader than what is known, and more central than what is realized. Telling this story builds cross-cultural understanding and points of commonality in our lives. Less than 1% of the Smithsonian’s federal appropriation supports the Asian Pacific American Center. We rely on private support to create enlightening exhibitions, conduct innovative research, offer cutting-edge public programs, and expose a global audience to new ideas and new worlds free of charge.
We recently received a grant to transform our organisation into a ‘digital first charity’. However this grant only covers content strategy and design of the website. To take full advantage of the grant by communicating our brand effectively we would like support in developing our brand guidelines.
