Evolution Cycle CO is a a youth-led social enterprise based in Camden that specialises in cycle maintenance and upcycling. All our Directors are aged 16-18. We offer young people involved in serious youth violence, gang related activity and/or not in education training or employment an opportunity to train as cycle mechanics; providing some with opportunities to earn money, learn enterprise skills and sales skills whilst also having opportunities to achieve a Nationally recognised industry standard Qualification - Cytech level 2. This qualification will also allow those involved to find employment in most cycle stores in the UK. The bikes that they we upcyled are then sold and profits are reinvested back into growing the social enterprise.
